Jared grew up in Memphis and graduated from White Station High School in 2004. He received his Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Memphis in 2008 and his Master's in Urban Studies/Community Development from Eastern University in 2011. Jared was hired as Recreation Coordinator at Streets in August 2011 and is here “to serve the Lord by loving this community”. Before joining the Streets staff, Jared worked for the Grizzlies and Red Birds, and was also Recreation Director at 2nd Baptist Memphis. He is a member of Fellowship-Downtown and in his free time, enjoys cooking, playing team sports, and reading about global/social justice issues. .
