Room Adopters

Room Adopters is a great way to serve the hard working teachers of the local elementary school. Volunteers act as a “teacher’s aid” for one hour per week, serving the teacher by either grading papers, reading to students, tutoring, filing papers, etc. Volunteers also throw four parties a year for their classroom, one party per quarter. Room Adopters is a great program for a group of volunteers, like a Sunday school group, a community group, or a group of friends, so that volunteers are able to rotate weekly classroom visits and plan the classroom parties together.
