What We Do

At Streets, one of our greatest challenges is to meet the specific physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the students we serve. Our staff strives to do this by building meaningful relationships with the students that we serve and being a consistent part of their lives. This means everything from being there to cheer on a student at a football or basketball game to throwing parties for the honor roll students to praying with a student who is going through a rough time or even getting to know the family of a student. Our facilities provide a place for the students to come and hang out after school, ensuring that they will have a safe haven with resources and support. Streets also has developed a wide variety of educational, mentoring and athletic programming, designed to meet both the immediate as well as the long term needs of the kids we work with.

The list to the left highlights some of our major initiatives.
